Oom Pah Pah Party returns to Doncaster Racecourse this October

Doncaster Racecourse is set to transform into a Bavarian festival ground this autumn with the return of Oktoberfest on 2 and 3 October.

Following the success of last year’s event, organiser EVNT Live is bringing back a two-day celebration that aims to recreate the atmosphere of the world-famous Oktoberfest.

The venue will feature live Oompah bands dressed in traditional hats and lederhosen, alongside stalls serving German street food such as bratwurst and currywurst. Guests can enjoy giant steins filled with a variety of beers, as well as spirits and cocktails, joining in the customary glass clinking to the music.

The event space will be decorated with long tables covered in blue and white checked cloths to create an authentic Oktoberfest experience.

The festivities begin on Friday 2 October from 7pm until midnight. On Saturday 3 October, there will be two sessions: an afternoon event from 1pm to 6pm and an evening session from 7pm to midnight.

Mike Hesketh of EVNT Live said,

We had a fantastic time at Doncaster Racecourse last year, so it wasn’t much of a stretch for us to decide to do it again. We’re upping the ante and we’re going to have even more fun this time round and we’re looking forward to bringing the spirit of Oktoberfest back to Doncaster.
